Call for Abstracts

The Human Factors and Ergonomics Society of Australia (HFESA) invites you submit your abstract for your paper for the virtual conference to be held from Sunday 17th – Wednesday 20st October 2021.

The Conference Scientific Committee welcomes abstracts (400 words or less).

Preparing abstracts: Your abstract should be a condensed version of the presentation. It should include:
 
  • The stream that the paper fits into
    • X
    • X
    • X
    • X
  • The issue(s) addressed/to be addressed
  • Methods used/to be used
  • Key findings/Expected findings
  • Key conclusions
  • Application to the selected stream in rural Australia

Please include in your submission: Abstract title; name(s) of author(s); organisation(s); address(s); phone (first author only); and email address (first and/or presenting author only).
Abstracts describing work in progress are also welcome.
The Committee will accept e-mail abstract submissions prepared in Word.
Presenters’ abstracts will be peer-reviewed. Presenters also have the option of publishing a full peer-reviewed paper on the HFESA website. These will be peer-reviewed with the aim of publishing accepted papers in the first quarter of 2022.
 
Please indicate when you submit your Abstract whether or not you are interested in writing a full paper for publication on the HFESA's website.
Topics for presentations for consideration by the Scientific Committee relate to the theme as follows:
* Selected papers will be required to be presented at a public venue e.g. local town hall to provide public accessibility  – please indicate your agreement to do this on your submission.

Submitting abstracts: To submit your Abstract please send it by email to: abstracts@hfesaconference.org.au 
The Committee will accept e-mail abstract submissions prepared in Word and forwarded as an attachment to your email. The title of the file should be: YOUR NAME – abstract HFESA2021.  
 

Event Registration: We would like you to register by the HFESA Conference Early-bird deadline of XXXXXXXXXXXX.
